The Hawk Pilot started as a development of the legendary M77 Norwegian combat boot and picked up two things pilots needed: a lace-lock system for fast tying with somewhere to tuck the ends, and a waterproof inner-side zipper so you can get in and out without relacing.
Cambrelle textile lining under the tongue, removable anatomical insole, and a direct-injected PU outsole. Warm enough for a normal winter, tough enough that armed forces buy them on purpose.
Made in Estonia by Samelin to NATO AQAP 2110 and ISO 9001 standards.
